Music from movies and our f*cked-up life outside the couch.
Our new playlist is live, and this time is faster, heavier, and more pissed off than the previous four volumes. Half the country is anxious, confused, and sad. But just like movies, music is an art form that distracts us, cleanses our minds, and inspires us.
There is no way to sugarcoat it. At least the next four years will be difficult. Now more than ever, we must support each other, join our community, step up, and fight for our rights.
Enjoy the music and support the active bands.
Playlist Highlights
Amyl and The Sniffers
We featured this band from Melbourne, Australia, in a past playlist. However, I needed to share their new hit, Jerkin’, from their latest album, Cartoon Darkness. This is another banger of the record from this band with a diverse set of tunes. The reflective single, Big Dreams, juxtaposes with the fast and pissed hardcore punk song It’s Mine right after to show they’re still here for everyone from all parts of the punk sphere.
Check their NSFW Jerkin’ music video. It’s more of a celebration of our naked bodies.
Destroy Boys, Mannequin Pussy, Scowl
Destroy Boys, Mannequin Pussy, and Scowl have released some of the best punk rock songs of the year. All three bands joined for this powerful anthem about the female experience that is a must-listen. In the aftermath of the elections and the wake of far-right misogynistic assholes like Nick Fuentes claiming ‘Your Body, My Choice,’ this song is relevant as any song can be.

Holy Blade
Holy Blade is a new hardcore punk supergroup featuring members from God’s Hate, Forced Order, Twitching Tongues, Cosmic Joke, and True Love. There is a lot of hype for their self-titled debut EP. Nonetheless, I got obsessed with them for their V/H/S Beyond end credits song. Their Melodic Hardcore was perfect to end the anthology. I hope their music is featured everywhere cause it’s sick.
